Silently waving the calming breeze,
Crickets tuning in dark melodies,
Distinct chattering away from sight,
Winter droplets on my window glide.

Lying on my cozy sack,
I am counting reverse numbers,
The same old trick to get mind retire.

Well once again,
Flashbacks evoked gushing all over,
To beat my still heart a little faster,
Spilling emotion nuggets in desire,
Bleeding shades were indeed dire,
My wounds may have been old,
Yet they started streaming pour,
Mind is at ease although wired,
And eyes are wide open but tired,
I am awake in hopes of sunlight,
In an another long sleepless night.

Trust me,
I am in my best of all efforts,
Reliving all happy moment thoughts,
Inhaling purple aromatic lavender,
Reading books of the finest literature,
And……
Yet I am well awake,
No matter how hard I try to rest,
Insomnia shallows peace of my mind,
In an endless lonesome sleepless night.
